Model-actress Gauahar Khan tied the knot with Zaid Darbar and pictures from the wedding ceremony are doing the rounds on social media. Gauahar Khan had shared photographs of her mehendi ceremony on Instagram. She posted images of her mehndi decorated hands on the photo and video sharing website. “Mehendi ki raat aayi! Thanking my jaan, my brother @asaadzkhan for the lovely gift that I’m wearing which was given to me 4 years back! You couldn’t make it to the wedding but the love surely did! It’s so special to wear the blessings you have sent me on my big day. This is for you Asabhai and @sabreen.a.jan,” she wrote as caption. The actress chose a traditional yellow colour outfit with zari work for her mehndi ceremony. She completed her bridal look with golden danglers and minimal makeup, and a zari dupatta covering her head. The actress had shared the date of her wedding on social media along with a note and two pictures of the couple. “#25thDec2020,” she wrote while with the images, along with a sparkling emoji. “The year 2020 has been anything but ordinary, & our love story through it all has been nothing short of extraordinary! It gives us immense joy to announce that we are tying the knot and embarking on a journey of forever,” the note read. “Keeping the current scenario in mind, we will be celebrating the big day with our family in an intimate ceremony. We seek your blessings & love & are eternally grateful for the constant support & the outpour of warm wishes we have received. We hope for every soul to find its mate & pray for every heart to find it’s reason to beat. ALL OUR LOVE,” it added. Bollywood composer Ismail Darbar’s son Zaid got engaged to Gauahar in November.
