Carol Ann Stevens Bolan

Carol Ann Stevens Bolan: 1929 to 2020

Carol was born in Parowan, Utah, on Christmas Day to William Ralph Stevens and LaRu Estella Cowley.

When she was an infant her father passed away and her widowed mom took her 3 small youngsters to live on the Cowley loved ones farm in the Major Horn Basin of Wyoming. While Carol learned homemaking expertise from her mom she most well-liked to be outside doing work in the massive backyard garden and aiding with the animals.

Carol descended from Mormon handcart pioneers and her relatives assisted colonize the Massive Horn Basin. She attended university in Byron, WY, graduating in 1948 as Salutatorian. Two yrs in the past she attended her 70th class reunion.

Pursuing graduation she attended faculty in Powell, WY. Though performing as a waitress in Powell she achieved Stephen Bolan. They have been married in 1950 and lived in Powell, Lyman and Rock Springs before settling in Casper the place they lived for 62 years. 

A life time member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Carol, Stephen and their youngsters were being sealed as a spouse and children in the Provo , UT, temple in 1981. Their kids are: Cynthia Frazier (Richard), Provo, UT Annette Dickson (Steve), Provo, UT Lana Bolan, Casper,WY Shelli Davis (Bodie), Las Cruces, NM Michael Bolan (Lori), Richmond, UT Stephen Bolan (Marti), Anchorage, AK. She has 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 1 good-good-grandchild.

Carol worked really hard to make each put she lived into a loving dwelling. She was a learn baker recognised for excellent rolls, bread and cookies. She loved a obstacle and could figure out how to design and style and/or deal with practically just about anything.

Carol loved to see and designed most of the apparel her young children wore together with fits, prom and wedding dresses, and held all people heat with handmade quilts. She designed costumes for her kids who participated in the clown parade where they frequently came household with major prizes. Costume structure and construction for Casper School plays was a unique opportunity for her to display screen her creativity and passion for sewing.

She supported her youngsters in all their university jobs and functions and put in several a long time watching game titles, attending concerts as well as performs.
